Our physicians lead a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to care that includes specialized teams in each Tampa General Hospital transplant program. These teams consist of the TGMG medical specialists and TGH staff that includes social workers, financial counselors and a transplant coordinator among others, who collectively work with patients to ensure they are prepared not only to undergo transplant procedures, but also to handle everything involved in the post-transplant process.
